Our Portfolio of Surface Finishing

Futai part finishing services are exceptional as our teams are experts in plastic, composite, and metal surface finishing. Furthermore, we have state-of-the-art machines and infrastructure to bring your idea to life.

As machined

Coming out of the machine after processing, our parts arecleaned of any sharp edges and burrs while retainingmarks. With no added materials, the finish gives parts asurface roughness of 3.2 μm (126 μin).

Bead blasting

Bead blasting cleans the surface of any impurities andpeels coating through the propelling of blast mediastreams over the parts.

Anodizing

To increase surface hardness and dissipate heat, we useanodizing techniques to enhance the look of parts andblend well for painting and priming.

Electroplating

Electroplating reduces metal cations in the electrolytesolution, producing a metallic coating on a metal surface. This process can be used for purposes of corrosion andwear resistance, as well as for decorative purposes.

Polishing

Working on metal and hard plastics, our polishing useshighly efficient machinery to get our parts between Ra0.8~Ra0.1 for a cleaner surface.

Powder coating

We apply a thin layer of protective polymer with the coronadischarge phenomenon to give our part a lasting finish thatprotects from impacts and prevents wearing down

Brushing

Our brushing technique uses abrasive belts over the material to create diverse patterns that match the parts structure and color.

As machined

Spray droplets can be dispersed uniformly or in fineamounts to cover a wide surface area and bring outgreater color to the part.

Black oxide

Adding layers to metallic surfaces like steel, our black oxidetechnique improves appearance while maintainingdurability

Alodine

We use chromate conversion coating or alodine to protectaluminum and other materials from corrosive elements, usually done before priming and painting parts.

Alodine

Helpful in brand recognition or parts organization, we usepart marking that applies various printing methods duringfull-scale production to quickly embed barcodes, letteringand logos on the parts.

Our Surface Finishing Specifications

Part surfacing finishing techniques can either be for functional or aesthetic purposes. Each technique has requirements, such as materials, color, texture, and price. Below are the specifications of the plastic finishing techniques rendered by us.
